Hometown Girl Goes National With Country Music Video
(Covington, LA) – Ponchatoula, Louisiana native and up-and-coming country music artist Kayla LoCicero will have her video for her new single “The Halls of St. Jude” air beginning August 20, 2006 on GAC, the Great American Country Network. GAC announced Friday that they will air the video on Sunday mornings which focuses on positive videos.They will continue to air the video each and every Sunday morning.This video was shot locally in May of this year, with locations including Tulane Hospital and the Del Oaks area of Madisonville, Louisiana.
“The Halls of St. Jude”, written by Scott Innes (WYNK) and Nelson Blanchard is a song that tells about St. Jude’s Children Hospital and its founder, Danny Thomas.
The video featured local people and places. Everyone who worked on the video, including talent and extras, were from the New Orleans area. The video was produced by The Ad House of Covington, Louisiana, and directed by Keith Delaune.
Kayla LoCicero, a southern girl who’s performed on small stages in local towns to stages in Nashville, Tennessee, is already receiving national recognition. May 13, 2006 - Kayla will be shooting a video for the song "The Halls of St. Jude". This song was written by Scott Innes (WYNK) and Nelson Blanchard to make the public more aware of the help that St. Jude's Children Hospital does for all children. Danny Thomas was the founder of St Jude and created the hospital to help children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.
